CAMP INFORMATION

  • Columbia Art League Sumer Art Camp – Camp meets at Calvary Episcopal church on 9th Street and there are some field trips.  There are three age ranges for campers:  5-8, 9-12, and 13-16, with different themes to choose from in each age range.  Summer campers need to bring their own lunch, snacks, and drinks. 

 

 

  • Columbia Parks and Recreation – Camp CoMo Kidz (formerly called Camp Adventure) is held at Stephens Lake Park.  Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. on April 10 at the ARC.  However, the website says to fill out the financial assistance form three weeks ahead of time, so that would need to be done by next week to allow enough time.  This camp is available to kids who will be entering first grade this fall through kids who just completed seventh grade. 

  • Columbia College has a variety of summer camps. There are Cougar sports camps for various ages.  Also Entrepreneurship camp for grades 8-11, Girls Who Game camp for grades 6-12, Summer Art Intensive for grades 9-12 and 2019 graduates, nursing camp for grades 10-12 and 2019 graduates, and STEAM Summer Camp for grades 3-8.  

 

  • Camp Hickory Hill for diabetic children ages 7-17.  This is a week-long overnight camp experience. 

 

  • Stephen’s College offers summer camps for girls.  The 2019 schedule is not ready yet, but further information is available at the link provided.  

 

  • Mizzou offers summer camps for K-12 in a variety of subject areas.

 

  • CPS Camp Invention at Mill Creek Elementary is for students entering grades 1-5.  Must provide own transportation.
